TTL Weddings is a Vancouver, British Columbia based wedding photography studio operated by George and Marta Gorczynski.
We take pride in ensuring that each couple receives individual attention and quality product. Our goal is to tailor each wedding’s photography to reflect couple’s individual personality and we strive to capture special moments from a novel perspective and add to them our artistic touch. Instead of following a standard list of shots we concentrate on emotions and details that make each wedding unique and that’s what keeps our studio fresh and unique. Our work is done in a professional but easy going manner as we strongly believe that the wedding day is yours to experience and we are there to document it for you and your family, to create memories that will be cherished for years to come.
Here are answers to some questions we are frequently asked:
What is your style?
The majority of our coverage is done in a photojournalistic style. Most of our shots are candid, not posed or rehearsed, taken from the observer point of view. We concentrate on documenting your special day and capturing actions and emotions. Having said that, we certainly still take formal, posed photographs. The balance of the two is up to you. But if you are not sure what you like best, just leave it to us and we will make sure that your photographs represent a variety of traditional and modern styles.
Will you travel outside of the Vancouver Metro area?
Absolutely. Please let us know your location or destination and we will give you a custom quote.
Do you mind other people taking photographs at the wedding?
Not at all. We are there to observe and document, not to interfere with the flow of your day. The exception is the time when we photograph formal groups and take posed shots. Only then we would ask other people to refrain from taking photographs so that you can pay full attention to our directions and look at our cameras.
Do you retouch images?
We optimize colour, sharpness and exposure of all photographs. Enlargements and album images go through more extensive retouching if their look can be improved. This usually includes elements like soft focus, vignettes, custom borders or tonal adjustments. We call it “fine art processing”.
Do you take black and white photographs?
Because we use digital equipment, all photographs are registered in colour. However, our darkroom is also digital so any photograph can be converted to black and white. During initial retouching we will use our artistic judgment to convert some photographs to black and white, while retaining the colour version for you as well. You can request more images to be converted to black and white at no extra cost.
Do I get to keep the negatives?
Yes. You will receive digital files (equivalent to film negatives) of all photographs at maximum resolution. You are free to make unlimited personal reproductions for yourself, your family and friends. However, we retain the copyright to the images as our work of art, and the right to use them for promotional purposes, competition entries, peer critique, etc.
I want to hire you, what do I do?
After we discuss the details of your wedding, either by phone, email or in person, we will send you a contract for you to sign. Once we receive the signed contract and the deposit, your date is booked!
