It’s true that brides have more choices than ever before when it comes to photography. There’s formal styles and more photojournalistic styles; there’s film and digital (yes, some people still shoot film!); there’s ordering by prints and there’s getting a disc; there’s engagement shoots, trash the dress, boudoir…. I think you get the idea.
While choice is good, choosing carefully has never been more important. After all, anyone can call him or herself a photographer, and more and more are doing so every day.

This starts from your first contact with us by email or phone, and continues to our free initial consultation, to planning sessions, to your big day, and, of course to your treasured wedding photos.
Wedding
We custom design beautiful albums which will garner many envious ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’ from your friends. We capture your memories unobtrusively, using a photojournalistic style of photography for most of the day. And of course we can handle the formal shots as well, and then throw in some fashion-inspired glamour for good measure.
While we are based in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, we regularly travel beyond our hometown to meet with clients and capture their special moments.
Engagement
We love engagement sessions and think it’s a must for any couple. It really lets us get acquainted, which always results in better pictures on your wedding day. Our engagement sessions are always on location, making them look natural (that’s because they ARE natural!). Tired of stuffy studio shots from the 80′s and 90′s? So are we. We find funky locations to give you something unique – these are not your Grandparents’ wedding photos!
Boudoir
Cam Wrigley, the main photographer for Cameron Photography, is also a boudoir photographer. These intimate sessions show how you feel about for the man of your dreams, while always remaining tasteful, relaxed, and respectful of your boundaries. Boudoir photography is a very hot item these days – don’t miss out! (your future hubby will thank you). We arrange the hair, makeup, and private location. You choose your favourite lingerie, bring one of his shirts or ties if you like, and we’ll capture your love for your new husband.
Trash-the-Dress
Another recent addition to our offerings is called trash the dress. For trash the dress (sometimes abbreviated to TTD), the dress doesn’t actually need to be trashed, but we could definitely get it wet! Depending on how adventurous you are, you could float in the ocean, roll around in the sand with your new hubby, jump off a dock, or even jump in a dumpster (yes, someone did that!). It started with brides who thought it was a waste to spend so much money on a dress only to wear it once and then lock it away in a closet forever.
We know that every wedding is unique. You can pick and choose from our offerings to suit your needs, and we will build a package for you accordingly.
