Super 8 is indeed special, and certainly not for everyone; because of the expensive nature of the medium of film it’s definitely something that a couple may want to add as an additional and invariably extra special way of capturing their wedding. The look and feel of film certainly evokes a sense of memory and even glamour; we’ve always associated the look of film with going to the movies, or movie stars, or our parents’ old films or even their own wedding film. So there’s a neat mix of glamour and nostalgia going on. We’ve found most of our clients to be artists/designers, or those with a keen interest in art/design/vintage, or people who just really want something unique and different.
Our interest in super 8 comes out of our own artistic practices; we love the look of it, we love using it, we love weddings and therefore wanted to combine the two aspects and share our services with the world!
